EVA GARAGE
Privacy Policy
What little we collect, why, and how to stop it.
This is a small editorial site. It has no accounts, no logins, no shopping basket and no newsletter, so most of what a privacy policy usually covers does not apply here. Last updated September 2026.
What is collected
Our web host records standard server logs when a page is served: an IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are discarded on the host's normal rotation.
We use a basic, aggregated traffic count to see which sections are read. It records page views and rough referrer information. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it does not follow you to other sites.
If you email us, we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and then it stays in the mail archive. We do not add correspondents to any list.
What is not done
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not run advertising networks on the site, and we do not embed social media trackers, pixels or share buttons. We do not attempt to identify individual readers.
Cookies and opting out
The site sets no cookies of its own for tracking. Any storage in your browser is limited to what is needed to display the page. If you would rather not be counted at all, a browser set to block scripts, or any standard tracker blocker, will remove you from the aggregate figures entirely, and the site will work exactly as it does otherwise.
You can also ask us directly: email hello@evagarage.org and say what you want removed. If we hold anything connected to you — realistically, an email exchange — we will delete it and confirm.
External links
Pages link out to hotel websites. Those sites are run by other companies and have their own policies, which we do not control and have not audited.
